Collection: Smoke Cleansing Sticks

Smoke Cleansing sticks are used to rid bad energies, cleanse stagnant vibes, protect your energy and welcome positivity.

You can use Smoke Cleansing sticks around your whole house, for specific objects or rooms, to cleanse yourself (mind, body and spirit), as a general cleansing process or for a more specific purpose with intent (eg. protecting your home from a certain person's negative energy or inviting a career change into your life).

These Smoke Cleansing sticks have been delicately curated by Alison Kate. Made from ethically sourced or locally grown materials. Alison has carefully selected the plants she uses for the various cleansing sticks available, each with its own purpose. The available herbs will change with the seasons.

How to use:

• Have your specific intent in mind, a mantra or a music playlist ready. These are not necessary but can help, pick and choose what feels right for you.
• Open doors and windows to allow negative energy to exit or for positive energy to enter.
• Place a small amount of water in a bowl. You will use this to catch any falling ash whilst cleansing and to extinguish the stick once you have finished.
• hold the handle of the stick and light the opposite end. Allow the end to burn for a few seconds before gently blowing out the flame.
• Start at the entrance of your home, paying close attention to doorways and the corners of each room. You may like to use a feather, gently wave the stick or blow the smoke to reach all areas.
• Finish the cleanse at the entrance of your home, where you began.
• Either put the stick out in the bowl or leave somewhere safe to smolder and extinguish naturally. Reuse whenever you please.

• Start from the top and work towards the base

If you are cleansing yourself

• Get into a comfortable position
• Start from your head and work towards your feet, 'washing' yourself with waves or handfuls of smoke.
• Focus on the area that is causing grief (eg. a sore shoulder or your mind if you are having negative thoughts).
